Angel’s Touch began when founder Mark Wah experienced first-hand the trials of finding care for an aging family member. When his grandfather‘s health began to deteriorate back in 1996, Mark’s family placed his grandfather into the best nursing home they could find. “It was a traumatic experience to see my grandfather in that nursing home,” says Mark. That experience would change Mark’s life and career. From that moment forward, Mark knew there had to be a better way to care for an aging spouse, parent, or loved one.

Familial, Not Institutional. Mark saw a disconnect between the care his grandfather received and the respect and care he deserved. Seniors should be held in high regard because of their wisdom, knowledge and experience. He set out to design an assisted living retirement community that reflects these values.
